TL;DR: Download the Faction-Reaction tracking sheet at the end of the post. Our megadungeon Stonehell campaign (Nordmark Kampagne) got a second player group. We now play thrice a week, and keeping up with notes becomes challenging. With “second player group”, I mean a group of players that do not play during the open table sessions (on Wednesday and Sunday), but instead committed loosely to always play on Thursday evenings. Spoiler Warning: Players of the Nordmark Kampagne, don’t spoil yourself and keep out! For my Stonehell Campaign — also called “Nordmark Kampagne” — I created a condensed DIN A4 page with all of Stonhells monsters, in alphabetical order, including stats. It proved to be quite useful during play, as I don’t have to shuffle around pages anymore. For special monsters, I also added the page references for quick look-up. Pre-Rolled Monster HP & HD Sheet

TL;TD: get the pre-rolled monster hp sheet and start and track fights a bit faster. I used to roll up monster HP during play, writing down their HP/HD on my log, and keep track of it during fights. It is slow, and in those moments right before a fight, rolling dices than don’t have any imediate effect, isn’t fun for anyone. My next approach was to wait for the first hit and damage, roll up the monster HPs and, if not killed, note in in my log and track it. Read More.
